About Us

Towers Junior School was originally built in 1969 to cater for local children between the ages of 7 and 11. The school is situated on a well protected, site with spacious grounds that we are presently developing.

The school was subject to a major refurbishment in 2010 and an extension was added in 2014, increasing our intake from a two form entry to a three form entry. Our unique and wonderful facilities enables our vision of providing' 21st century learning in a 21st century environment' to become a reality.

The site is shared with Towers Infant School with whom we have strong links and share a Governing Body. Most children transfer between the schools at the age of 7.

The school benefits from a hard working and committed team of staff, who work tirelessly together to maintain high standards of work and behaviour. Staff constantly update their skills through continual professional development.

Teaching staff are mobile between year groups. Whilst there is a good range of in-depth subject expertise, all staff are general subject teachers who teach the full range of curriculum subjects.
